When purchasing your wig online, it can be difficult to know which style will flatter you best. Facially, everyone is different and what can be a beautiful style on you may not flatter someone else. Wigs can transform your look so you can opt for a younger, more on-trend looks or use them to change up your style and experiment before making a permanent decision at the salon. Confidence is key when you are wearing a wig and feeling comfortable in your style really shows in the overall look.
How to know your face shape
Knowing your face shape is a great indicator of what wig will complement your unique features. It is so easy to know it. There are a few ways you can work out your face shape.
Mirror
Stand in front of the mirror and look at the full outline of your face. Use something that can be easily removed from the mirror surface, a bar of soap or lipstick for example, and trace the outline of your face onto the mirror to identify your face shape
Photograph
Alternatively you can use a recent portrait photo and using a tracing paper and a pencil, trace the outline of your face onto a piece of paper.

You also can ask your husband, friends, kid or someone else. Their opinions offer some face shape information. You can take some advice.

Oval - many choices
As its name implies, the oval-shaped face is longer than wide, with a jaw that is narrower than the cheekbones. Because the oval shaped face has no dominant areas and is so proportional, this face looks good with just about any hairstyle, length or texture.
Round - avoid width
The round-shaped face has a wide hairline and fullness below the cheekbones. The client may be overweight and the neck may appear short. A geometric or linear style looks very good. Add height and long wispy sides to make the cheeks look narrow. Sides and nape comb close.
Diamond - reduce width at sides
The diamond-shaped face has a narrow chin and forehead with wide cheekbones. Diamond shaped faces need narrow sides and fullness at the chin. Bobs work very well. Avoid height on top or volume on the sides. Use some fringe or bangs to cover narrow forehead.
Triangular(heart)- add volume at cheekbone/chin
The heart-shaped face is characterized by a wider forehead and a narrower chin. Bring some hair onto the forehead to disguise its width. Keep hair close to the head at the eyes but make it slightly full around the jaw, and below and in front of the earlobes.
Square - add straight lines
The Square Shaped Face is characterized by a wide hairline and jaw. Square shaped faces need height on top and narrowness at the sides. Comb the hair off the forehead to add height to the face. Curly texture and wisps of hair around the face break the wide, straight lines common to the square face.
